Most people know me as an athlete. Basketball has been a huge part of my identity for years. But what they don’t always see is what happens after the buzzer the transition into life after sports.
When I decided to walk away from professional basketball, it wasn’t an easy decision. I didn’t have it all figured out. But I knew one thing for sure: I wanted to build something that gave me financial freedom, long-term stability, and the opportunity to impact others.
That’s when I found real estate investing.
Why Real Estate Investing?
Here’s what drew me in:
- Real estate investing creates real wealth.
I didn’t want to just earn money I wanted to build a legacy. Real estate offered a proven way to generate cash flow, build equity, and create opportunities for myself and my community. - It rewards the same skills I learned in sports.
Discipline. Strategy. Grit. Just like basketball, real estate investing requires hustle and consistency. The more I learned, the more I realized that I was built for this game, too. - You don’t need to start with millions.
I started small, made mistakes, learned fast, and scaled. You don’t need a trust fund or celebrity status to succeed just the right mindset and a solid strategy.
